Flared Bell Sleeve Pattern Add-on

This pattern add-on brings dramatic flared bell sleeves to tops and dresses already in a sewing library. Rather than a full garment pattern, it supplies the sleeve pieces needed to swap a plain sleeve for a wide, sweeping silhouette that falls open from the elbow toward the wrist. It suits women's blouses and dresses where a single bold detail is meant to carry the whole look.

Fabrics with fluid drape give the shape its movement, so rayon, viscose, challis, crepe and lightweight georgette are strong choices, while softer cottons and linen blends create a slightly more structured flare.
