These minimalist beach shorts are an easy summer staple for women who prefer relaxed, fuss-free clothing. The elastic waistband pulls on without zips or buttons, and practical side pockets keep small essentials within reach, making the shorts as wearable at home as they are on holiday.
Linen is the natural choice here, giving the shorts a breathable, softly rumpled look that improves with every wash. Linen-cotton blends, washed cotton, chambray or lightweight viscose also work well. Sew a pair for beach days, warm-weather travel, garden afternoons or simply for lounging when the temperature climbs.
Sizes run from XS to 5XL (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). The pattern is a PDF for printing at home on US Letter or A4 paper (one file for both), and it also includes an A0 file for printing at a copy shop and a projector file. Each size is a separate file, so you print only the size you need.
